Snowmobiling

I have snowmobiled for most of my life. It is something that is just a lot of fun to me. Something about flying through the woods at 170kmph in -20 is fun to me apparently. It also has a special place in my heart, as one of my best buddy’s, Mitch Watson used to go almost every weekend we could. Mitch died in a workplace accident in March of 2023.

Thats Mitch on the blue machine.

I do not plan on ever stopping snowmobiling. We always do trips on the machines. This winter we did not get a lot of snow, but last year we did over 8000km of trail riding. I bought my machine brand new in 2017, it was the first time I had ever bought something that was Brand New. This year we only did 1800Km of riding, but we did all 1800km in 2 days.

Snowmobiling appeals to me so much because it is the last unregulated power sport. There are over 25,000Km of trails just in Ontario alone. Quebec has over 50,000km of trails and that just two provinces. There is almost no police regulations or presence on the trails. You can average speeds of over 170-180 kmph on these machines. There jumps, woops and tons of high speed turns on all of the trails.

It’s the last powersport you can do anyway you want. Ill keep you all updated with every trip we do. I don’t have a lot from this past winter because we never got snow.
